He graduated from the Finance Department of the University of Lagos in 1992. He is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria. He is also an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. He is an Ex-banker, having a little stint in domestic operations while majoring in foreign operations throughout his banking career spanning about eleven (11) years with Commercial Bank (Credit Lyonnaise Nigeria) Ltd, which later metamorphosed into Capital Bank Plc (now defunct), United Bank for Africa Plc and lastly, the defunct African Express Bank Plc, where he was the pioneer Head of Foreign Operations. He was at one time, the Chief Accountant of MYKE-LUCET INVESTMENT LTD and presently the Chief Executive Officer of EX-Y-ZED INVESTMENT LTD, a private investment firm in Nigeria. He was appointed as one of the Directors of BUTTERFLY CONSULT LTD some years ago. Donald is widely traveled and has attended local and foreign seminars.
He is a regular facilitator at Seminars organized by the Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria.
He had his first degree B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Federal University of Technology; Akure in 2005.He is a Chartered member of Computer Professionals of Nigeria (MCPN). He has various certifications in Cisco and Avaya Contact Center Design. He has worked with different ICT firms as a Network Administrator/Implementation Engineer and Designer Engineer both in Nigeria and abroad. He has implementation and support experience in various Avaya and Nortel Projects such Nortel BCM 400/450, Avaya Aura Unified Communication, Avaya IP Office, Avaya Aura Call Centre and Avaya Aura Contact Centre Solution in Keystone Bank PLC, First Bank Nigeria PLC, Mainstreet Bank (Former AfriBank PLC) ,Regus Virtual Works Limited, Ghana and Direct On PC Limited. He also has experience in Avaya IP Office Contact Center Solutions which he has single headedly deployed at Africa Prudential registrars and Hygeia HMO Limited. He led the team of Engineers in deploying Avaya Proactive Contact (APC) at Skye Bank PLC. In addition, he single handedly implemented Avaya Multimedia Contact Center at First Bank DR Congo both at the HQ and Data recovery center in Kinshasa. Supervised the implementation of Document Management solution at Adron Homes and also deployment of Time Attendance solution across all Adron Homes across the Nation. Part of his wide experience is the deployment of Avaya Unified communication at Rand Merchant and Greenwich Merchant Banks respectively
He had Higher National Degree in Marketing and MBA international Business Management. He is a Member Chartered institute of Marketing (MCIM) UK, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (MNIMN).He is also an Associate Member Direct Marketing of Nigeria (DMAN), Advertising Practitioners of Nigeria (AAPN), Nigeria Institute of Management and institute of strategic Management. He has various certifications in IBM and Dell.
He has over 10 years’ experience in sales and marketing with Account Manager, FSI and Telecommunication, FSS Gases Limited, City Business Computers and interdisk Alliances Limited. As part of his achievement he is Part of the team that won the installation of Fire suppression system in Airtel datacentre that worth $2.5m and also increased company profit after tax by 1.5% in 2007.
